Eligibility: Only voters registered in Florida before the deadline and residing within the city limit boundaries of Paxton will be eligible to participate in this election.
Election Day: Tuesday, August 18, 2026 (Polls open: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm)
If voting on Election Day, all eligible city voters will vote at the Paxton Agriculture Complex at 22036 U.S. Hwy 331 North, Laurel Hill, FL 32567. Voters can verify their eligibility status at votewalton.gov/status. Be sure to bring valid voter Identification. Visit votewalton.gov/ID for details.
Registration Deadline: Monday, July 20, 2026 – deadline for new registrations in Florida and party affiliation changes to be eligible to participate in this election. Register to vote, update your registration, or check your status at votewalton.gov/register
Vote by Mail (Absentee): To vote by mail ballot, you must submit a request. Request online here: votewalton.gov/request. The deadline to request a ballot to be mailed is at 5:00 pm on the 12th day before Election Day. Mail ballots must be received either by mail or in person at Paxton Town Hall by 7:00 pm on Election Day.
