Registration Deadline: Monday, October 5, 2026 – deadline for new registrations in Florida to be eligible to participate in this election. Register to vote, update your registration, or check your status at votewalton.gov/register.
Vote by Mail (Absentee): To vote by mail ballot, you must submit a request. Request online here: votewalton.gov/request. The deadline to request a ballot to be mailed is at 5:00 pm on October 22, 2026, the 12th day before Election Day. Mail ballots must be received either by mail or in person in the Supervisor of Elections by 7:00 pm on Election Day.
Early Voting: Monday, October 19, 2026, through Saturday, October 31, 2026
– Monday – Saturday, October 19th – 24th (8:30 am – 4:30 pm)
– Sunday, October 25th (1:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
– Monday – Saturday, October 26th – 31st (8:30 am – 4:30 pm)

Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (Polls open: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm)
If voting on Election Day, voters will need to vote at their home precinct’s polling place, as designated on their voter information card or at votewalton.gov/status.

Party Affiliation: In a general election, all registered voters receive the same ballot for their designated area and may vote for any candidate or question, regardless of party affiliation.
You may register to vote or change your party affiliation at any time. However, new registrations and party changes must be made at least 29 days before an election to take effect for that election. This deadline is often referred to as “book closing.” If the change is submitted after the deadline, the change will apply to future elections. More information here: votewalton.gov/party
