The Walton County Board of County Commissioners approved updates to certain voting precinct boundaries in 2026. As a result, some Election Day polling locations and precinct assignments have changed for the upcoming 2026 elections.
The following Walton County voting precincts were affected with a change: 130, 410, 420, 430, 440, 520, and 521 (new).
These changes affect voters in the following communities: Mossy Head, Choctaw Beach, Portland, Freeport, Bruce, and Santa Rosa Beach (as shown by the red line on the map below).
If you live in these areas, your designated voting precinct and/or Election Day polling place may have changed.

Updated voter information cards will be mailed to all affected voters prior to the 2026 elections.
Early Voting option:
If you wish to vote early in-person instead of on Election Day, you may vote at any Walton County early voting locations. For dates, times, and locations, visit: votewalton.gov/early.
